Description Of Products:
We try and be as accurate as possible when adding item descriptions and pictures of products. However sometimes photographs and colours may not appear the same on everyone's screen. Certain products (in particular personalised items) may require some self assembly, athough this may not be stated on individual item descriptions.
Ordering:
Orders placed through this website will receive an order acknowledgement receipt in the form of an email. You will receive a dispatch note to say when items have left the Warehouse.
Refusal Of Transaction:
On occassions we may refuse to process a transaction for any reason at our sole discretion. We will not be liable to you or any third party for refusing any transactions if we believe it is necessary. Sometimes items will be discontinued by our supplier or items may go out of stock and will not be updated, if this happens we will not be liable if we must cancel your order and refund you.
Payment/Pricing:
The prices for items are stated on this website. All prices are in (£) pounds sterling and must be paid for in (£) pounds sterling. This includes any taxes imposed on items. Prices displayed on goods include VAT (where applicable). Prices and avaliablity of products on Something Borrowed And Something Blue may be subject to change without notice.
Delivery:
Your items can be dispatched to your home address or an alternative address that you provide. If you wish to dispatch items to multiple addresses you must place orders as seperate transactions, because postage costs needs to be applied to each address. Due to some orders being dispatched directly from suppliers outside of the United Kingdom delivery times may take longer. Delivery times are shown on each individual product, please note these delivery times refer to working days. Every transaction will receive an email once items have been dispatched, once you have confirmation that items have been dispatched please allow up to 7 working days for delivery, if you do not receive your items within this time it is your responsibility to inform us. If you leave it longer than 10 working days to inform us that items have not be delivered, we will not be liable. Due to the nature of our items, particularly the personalised ones you must allow up to 28 days for delivery.
Once your 7 days cancellation period has passed you may not cancel the item. You may also not cancel the item if it is already on its way to you from us or a supplier, or if it has been attempted to be delivered to you within those 7 days, it is your responsibility to check individual product times. If an individual product's information is not on the website then you may contact us for information on lead times.
Sometimes delays in delivering the products to you may be beyond Something Borrowed And Something Blue's control. If we unable to deliver a product to you within 28 days then we contact you and you will be given the option of a refund.
If your items are being delivered by courier, and you miss the attempted delivery. It is your responsibility to collect items. If items get delivered back to us or our supplier, as you have not collected them, you will be responsible for paying for items to be re-delivered. You will not be able to cancel the goods after they ahve been attempted to be delivered to you. We will also not be liable if you provide any wrong information on your delivery address, if any information is found to be incorrect and parcels can not be tracked, we will not be liable.
If you have ordered items over the value of £75.00 and are receiving free delivery, we will not ship your items seperately unless you agree to pay postage costs. The only exception is that on a rare occassion that the items are arriving from a supplier. Secondly if you are have ordered goods and want additional personalised items or items that are not actually in stock and have a time lead against them you are agreeing to wait for these to come into stock before any of your goods are shipped.
Amending Your Order:
You should contact Something Borrowed And Something Blue immediately if you need to amend your order. It may be however that its not possible to change details if item is already being processed or shipped. If the item is personalised and you have supplied incorrect details you will not be able to return the item. You should therefore carefully check details before you click to submit orders, we will not be liable for any any errors in personalisation that you have provided incorrectly.
Minimum order requirements:
Some items on our website state that you must order a minimum of each item. This is very important, otherwise we can not process your order. We hold rights to charge 10% of the price you pay if we have to cancel items that you have not selected correct minimum order of.
Returns/Cancellation Policy:
Under the Distance Selling Regulations 2000 you may cancel your order within 7 days of the purchase. However these cancellations do not apply to personalised ready made to order items or goods that are already on their way to you.
You may also return items if you are not fully satisfied with your items for any reason, please send them back in the condition that they were supplied to you, within 7 days of receiving for a refund. Please note that any postage costs will be not refunded, this includes postage costs within your order and the returning of items. The customer is responsible for shipping the item back in the original packaging that the goods were supplied in, and any lost/damaged packages will not receive credit. We highly recommend that you use some some of tracking on returned items, as we will not take any responsibility for items lost or damaged. If you do not use suitable packaging and the item arrives damaged in transit you will not receive credit. Goods must be in a sellable condition. To clarify you only have 7 days to return items if you are not happy with them in anyway, if the 7 day period has passed and you have not sent them to us in this time period you will not receive a refund, even if you had contacted us prior to this time about the item, if you do not ask for a return number and send goods in the 7 days then you will not receive a refund. If items are damaged you have 7 days to inform us. If you do not inform us of damage within 7 days of receiving items you will not be issued with a refund or exchange.
Due to the nature of some of our products some items can not be returned/cancelled. These include:
- Items that have been personalised can not be returned as they are unsellable.
- Cake toppers that have customised hair colour or shoes.
- Items that are edible or hygiene items can not be returned.
If you send any of these non-returnable items back they will not be credited, and will be shipped directly back to the customer.
If you wish to return an order (as long as it is not a personalised, edible, hygiene item) you must do so by emailing us at info@somethingborrowedandsomethingblue.co.uk within 7 days of ordering.
If the item is faulty please email us at info@somethingborrowedandsomethingblue.co.uk with you name and order number and we will send you return instructions.
Once a refund gets agreed upon, please allow 14-21 working days for this to be processed.
Personalised Items:
You may not return or cancel personalised items. (The 7 day cancellation policy does not apply to personalised products). Note personalised products also include the following choice of colour for ribbon & personalised hair colour of cake toppers.
European Customers:
We ship to countries in the EU. However you must order items that are in the European section. Any items ordered out of this sdection will be refunded, If you are purchasing items from our website, please note that you the customer are responsbile for paying any taxes, custom, or duty charges that may be imposed. The delivery times are also longer than stated on our website for European Customers.
